Christmas Plus

Well I haven't wrote for a while so I have a lot to catch up on! First of all Danielle's wedding turned out beautiful! It was so much fun, her and Dave make such a cute couple. They are definately made for eachother. We went down to St. George that morning and they were sealed in the temple. Then we went to a luncheon at Ruby Tuesday's. Then we all barely made it home before that horrible snow storm came through. We were all really sad thinking that we wouldn't have very many people show up to the reception because of the storm, but we had a really good turn out. They are so happy and they will be going on their honeymoon in January on a cruise!

The house is coming along good. This was one of James and mine's last projects. We were very impressed with out work it only took us about 5 hours to do the rock! Our house has turned out so nice. I can't believe how much work it has been. We are really burned out and we are just trying to push through the last little bit! We got carpet today!! And we are hopefully going to be moving in next weekend. We will have an open house soon so all of you can see all our hard work!

Christmas was a blast with a two year old!! Of course she was spoiled to death because she is the only grandchild on my side of the family! She had so much fun with all her new toys and presents. In fact she got sick of opening presents and wouldn't do it anymore! She loves this pony that Santa got her it makes noises when you touch it's ears. She calls him "Hehe." She also love the new FOUR-WHEELER! She just slammed on the gas and ran right into the wall. It doesn't go very fast so she can't really get hurt, but she will have to learn to steer! Well I hope that all of you had a great Christmas!

Merry Christmas Colton

Merry Christmas Colton

As most of you know, my little brother Colton is on a LDS mission in California. So for Danielle's wedding reception she wanted him there! Of course he was not able to come home, so we made a life size poster of him and put him in the reception line. It was really funny. Sheridyn really liked it and she gave him kisses. Merry Christmas Colton this post is for you!

Danielle's Bridals

As most of you know Danielle is getting married on Saturday, December 13th! We are so excited. I took her bridal pictures last week and I wanted to show some of them. She looks so pretty. To make a long story short. I broke my camera about 3 days before we were supposed to do these, so I ended up using my Dad's camera that I was not used to and took about half of the pictures on the wrong mega-pixel. I was so sad when I realized it, they were really small pics and could only be printed at about a 4x6 size, so we ended up going to St. George twice to get them just right. We are all happy with the end result though. We got some new fun pics on the second trip and some extra shopping time at the mall so it turned out just fine.

Sheridyn is Turning Two!!

I can't believe my baby is turning two this weekend! I wish time didn't go by so fast. Sheridyn is such a special spirit in my life. She is so fun and growing up too fast. She is getting so smart, the other day I was crying because I broke my camera and she went and got me a tissue. She has the cutest personality. Here are some fun things about Sheridyn.

This was her birth announcement picture. She weighed 7 lbs. 5 oz. and she was 18 in. long.

She was blessed on February 4th, 2007.

Her favorite person is Grandpa "Papa" and her favorite thing to do is go on motorcycle rides around the block.

Her Favorite Animal is Ty. Her favorite color is Blue, her favorite "food" is popsicles and her favorite song is "Jesus Wants Me for a Sun Beam."

She also loves to play dress up. She finds all of my Baby Blossom items and puts them on.
This is one of my favorite pics. She totally posed for the camera.

She loves Shoes, in fact one of her very first words was shoes!
She is always wanting hers on and trying on mine.
I love my little SherBear! HAPPY BIRTHDAY.

Painting

Hey everyone thought I would give you an update on our house! We are painting and it is miserable! Paint is everywhere, it's in my eyes, nose, throat, ears, etc. I really feel bad for professional painters, it is not a fun job. Expecially painting the ceiling, my neck will never be the same! Anyways, thought I would show off some funny pics of us! I will be posting some pics of Dani's bridal shower that was tonight! Thank you to all that came it was really fun.

I look like I'm going to perform surgery or something!

Yeah Drywall

It's been a crazy week at the Hoyt house as usual! We started our rock on our house this last Saturday. We got about half way done. Hopefully we will get another warm weekend like Saturday was, so we can get it finished this weekend. We really like how the rock looks. Our house is getting closer to being done! At least the outside should be done before it gets too cold!

The Drywallers are almost finished. They will be completely done this Friday! It makes the house look so much different! It looks like a house finally.
This is Sheridyn's new friend JT he is our next door neighbor. He is so cute with her and helps her down stairs and plays really good with her. I thought this pic was so cute of them.

Halloween

I thought that Sheridyn would enjoy Halloween this year. I was wrong, she didn't like her costume very much so she didn't want to put it on and this just started a night of tantrums. She wasn't interested in getting candy from anyone and she didn't let James and I put her down. So we made it to about 5 houses around the neighborhood and took her to my parents house. She wasn't enjoying herself so we decided to go to Chili's for dinner. Bad choice she was so mad at us, so we hurried and ate and went home. Oh well maybe next year. Saturday was a blast though, James and I went to a fun Halloween Party at Cory and Katie's house. We ate great food and played Halloween Bingo, Newly Wed Game, Rockband and Wee. We were pretty much there all night! Thank you Katie for the great time!

Happy Birthday to Me

Today started out kind of crummy. Sheridyn had the stomach flu all night and was throwing up. Luckily by about noon she started feeling better. We went to my favorite restaurant Costa Vida!! Then we went back to my Mom and Dad's house to open presents and have cake. Thank you guys for all my gifts! I was so spoiled! Then James and I went to "Eagle Eye" it was a really good day. Thanks!!

The Black Eye

Look at James' new battle wound! Just to set the record straight, I did not do this to him!! He moved a latter out at the house and a piece of gas pipe on the top fell off and hit him. OUCH He likes to make up all kinds of different stories about how he got this black eye.

This weekend we got all the windows and exterior doors installed on our house! Thanks to our awesome helpers Casey, Jared, Dad, Bob and Gary!! It took all five of the guys to lift that huge window into place on the back of the house. Thank you so much we couldn't have did it without you! The house is looking great, we hope to start stucco and insulation this week! We will see how the inspection goes on Monday!

Finally Joined The Blog World

I've finally got around to starting my own blog! I hope that it will help me keep in touch with all my "peeps" at this crazy time in our lives! For all of you who don't know we are building our second house!! I know we are nuts. James and I actually enjoy it a little. We do most of the work ourselves. James and I just got done framing the house last week and we have now started roofing. I've posted some pics of us working on the house these last couple of months.

Also wanted to show you what I did for James' Birthday. I put a flames graphic kit on our Rhino. Looks pretty sweet, there are two little flames going down the sides too, but I don't have a pic. James really liked it. We went to dinner and a movie too, it was a really nice break from the house!
