Cabin Trip

Wow the mountain was soooo beautiful this weekend. James had a muzzle loader tag but he got his deer the first day! James never does that! He always waits to find a bigger deer and then we rarely end up with one. But he shot a nice 4x6 up on the mountain opening day. So we went up to our cabin and just relaxed, the weather was perfect and the trees were so pretty and yellow! Jaylee was an angel as usual. We just had a great time. We got a good load of wood on Friday with my Grandpa Coates the first day. Then that night my parents came up and we watched a movie. The next morning James and my dad went and got another good load of wood, while my mom, the girls and I just played at the cabin. We took rides in the truck looking at all the beautiful scenery and just really enjoyed ourselves.

I carved the girls name in a tree by the cabin.

Balloon Fun

This weekend we went hot air balloon chasing. Sheridyn loved it. Our dog Ty on the other hand hated it! He is scared to death of balloons along with about a million other things like clothes hampers, fireworks etc. So when he saw the huge balloon he wouldn't stop barking! Then we headed over to the Skyfest at the park and Sheridyn got to sit in the drivers seat of a plane. It was pretty fun.

Blessing Pics

I finally got around to taking some pictures of Jaylee in her blessing dress! She wore the same dress that I was blessed in. I thought it was special, I'm so happy my mom kept things like that around! I have a couple other baby doll dresses that my mom saved from the 80's and I think they are so cute. I have a vintage baby:) J/K I took some fun pics of Sheridyn and Jaylee in their matching clothes. I love the way green looks on these girls with their pretty blue eyes. I just couldn't stop taking pictures. I had to finally stop after bribing Sheridyn with popsicles for too long and she wasn't interested anymore.

I absolutely love this picture! It looks like they are laughing at each other. Jaylee loves to smile at Sheridyn and I just happened to catch it!

Smiles & Kisses

Jaylee started smiling this week! It was on Labor Day after the parade and my mom was holding her and she smiled at her. I got a picture of it!! Then the next day I took a video of her doing it. I also posted some other fun things that I've been meaning to put on here.

We went to DQ with some friends and Sheridyn and Lainey were not very sure about "The Boy" (Jordan) they were leaning as far away as possible from him and Sheridyn was "protecting" Lainey from him. It was really funny we laughed about it the whole time.

Sheridyn and James slept out on the trampoline the other night. It was really fun we set up the little TV out there and ate popcorn and watched a movie. I loved times like this when I was growing up.

This is soooo funny. Sheridyn thinks that Jaylee is giving her kisses!! How sweet.

Baby Blessing

We blessed Jaylee on Sunday. It was so neat, James did such a good job on the blessing. We had lots of family and friends there to support us. After the blessing we had a luncheon at our house. We had a great time talking to family and friends and Sheridyn had a blast playing with her cousins. Thank you to all of you that came, we really enjoyed having you there.

Grass

This weekend we put our grass in! It totally changed the look of our house, it looks complete now! We have got the most amazing family and neighbors that helped us put the sod down. It was done so fast thanks to them! We finished our front and back yard. It is so nice to have a lawn.
